I CAN’T GET MY QR CODE TO WORK?

If you cannot get your device to auto-install an eSIM by scanning a QR code, you may be experiencing one of two problems:

  1. Your phone may be locked to your current provider – this usually occurs when you purchase your phone from your provider. If you have fully paid for your phone, then they are obligated to unlock it so you can use other providers. Just call them and ask them to unlock it. They can do it remotely, and it normally takes just a few minutes.
  2. Your phone may not support eSIM technology – pls see this website for an updated list of devices that support eSIM: https://esim2fly.com/esim-supported-devices/. If your device is not listed there, then you will either need to use a different device that supports eSIM, or you will need to order a physical SIM card.
